2006 Blog'D Award - Best On-Going Robert E. Howard Publication

2006 saw the 100th birthday of writer Robert E. Howard. While he is perhaps best known for his creation of the character Conan the Barbarian, Robert E. Howard's writing spanned many different genres, leaving the literary landscape littered with hundreds of stories, dozens and characters and thousands of fans. Seventy years after his death, his work is still enjoyed today, and his fans are passionate. A number of fanzines and journals have surfaced that offer criticism, reviews, essays and insights into Howard's work.
The Cimmerian, edited by Leo Grin, is one of these publications, and is a 2006 Blog'D Award winner. Each professionally-designed issue of The Cimmerian runs 40 pages, and can be read by fans and scholars alike.
